Shattered: A Poverty Simulation Experience
Shattered is a unique, interactive experience designed to help communities understand poverty. The simulation allows for individuals to experience what it is like to live below the poverty line. Participants will confront the choices and challenges people in poverty face on a daily basis and will be given an opportunity to reflect on the harsh realities of poverty. Most importantly, it encourages people to make a difference.
Full Circle Healing’s aim is for participants to leave with a better understanding of the causes and struggles of poverty and to provide practical steps that people can take to help to make a difference in their own communities.
Each simulation experience is typically 3 hours long and includes the simulation, small and large group processing, and a witness talk from an individual who has lived a life of poverty. Poverty Simulations can also be included within social justice retreats and can be secular or faith-based.
Crossing the Barrier: Finding healing in a segregated world
Tragically, much of our nation’s history is marked with the ugliness of racial discrimination and prejudice. Recent events in our nation has caused even more racial tension. Racial reconciliation is crucial in our world today, but how do we go about ‘crossing the barrier?’ Co-founders, Martice and Amy, are a bi-racial couple who will explore the segregation and racism that is alive in our world today while debunking myths, uncovering impressions, and providing practical ways that we can live out our call to love our neighbors and begin to find healing in our segregated world.
Crossing the barrier can be a day or over-night experience and can be tailored to both secular and religious groups.

Grief Support Groups: HEAL (hope, empathy, acceptance, love)
Grief is a natural response to loss; it is the emotional suffering you feel when something or someone you love is taken away. Wherever your grief may stem from, join us to discover healing through love and support. Our ten-week grief group is led by a psychotherapist and provides a safe atmosphere to work towards healing.
Groups are limited to 10 participants and are for either adults or youth (12-15 years or 16-18 years).
Mirror, Mirror, Off the wall: Healthy Body Image Support Group
We live in a society where women are constantly bombarded with images of what they “should” look like. As a result, very few young women feel comfortable in their own skin. The negative and often distorted thoughts and feelings women have about themselves and their appearance can seriously impact their emotional well-being. This group is for girls who are struggling with their own body image. This ten week support group provides a safe atmosphere which will allow young women to increase their self-esteem, help to form positive body images, learn to be healthy in mind, body and spirit, and become advocates for change in their own communities.
Groups are limited to 10 participants and are tailored to the following age groups: 10-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-18 years.
Individual counseling focuses on the individuals immediate or near future concerns and can encompass grief counseling, career counseling, problems or stress at home or at work and more. Full Circle Healing offers individual counseling for ages 12 and up.
Couples or marriage counseling is offered to support those in relationships who may be seeking improved relationships, intimacy, understand or who may be considering separation. While the relationship is the focus of couples counseling, each partner will be expected to focus on their own self-awareness and improvement.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying of hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. This unseen “life force energy” enables the practitioner to be a conduit of healing energy for the client.
Reiki is a gentle, safe, and relaxing healing modality that treats mind, body, and spirit. Reiki is an excellent holistic and safe way to augment your current health routine if you have one, or it can be a great way to begin to provide yourself with some much deserved self-care.
